Welcome to Dr Pert Aesthetics. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our services, website, and interactions with our staff and affiliated professionals. By booking an appointment, using our website, or engaging with any of our services, you agree to the following terms, which are legally binding under South African law.
1. Practice Overview
Dr Pert Aesthetics is a South African medical aesthetics and body sculpting practice based in Pretoria, led by Dr Petunia Mathibe. We offer surgical and non-surgical cosmetic services, aesthetic care, and wellness support. All procedures are subject to pre-qualification and clinical assessment.
2. Eligibility for Services
You must be:
- Over 18 years of age (or have signed parental/guardian consent if under 18)
- Medically fit to undergo aesthetic procedures (as determined by our clinical team)
- Able to provide accurate, honest medical and personal information
We reserve the right to decline treatment if deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or non-compliant with medical standards.
3. Consultations & Bookings
- All initial consultations are by appointment only.
- A deposit may be required to confirm your booking.
- Missed appointments without 48 hours’ notice may result in a cancellation fee.
- Full payment may be required prior to surgical procedures.
4. Medical Disclosure & Consent
- Clients are required to disclose all relevant medical history, medications, allergies, and prior procedures.
- Consent forms must be signed before any treatment begins.
- Dr Pert Aesthetics adheres to informed consent practices in accordance with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) guidelines.
- Risks, benefits, and potential outcomes will be explained to you prior to any procedure.
Failure to disclose accurate information may result in the cancellation of services.
5. Results Disclaimer
- While we strive to deliver excellent, natural-looking outcomes, individual results may vary.
- Surgical and non-surgical results are influenced by body type, healing response, lifestyle, and post-op care.
- No guarantees can be made regarding aesthetic results, healing time, or permanence of procedures.
6. Payments, Pricing & Refunds
- Pricing is provided upfront during consultation or booking.
- All payments must be made in full before procedures unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Accepted payment methods: EFT, credit card, or other approved platforms.
- Deposits are non-refundable unless cancelled by us.
- Refunds for services rendered will not be issued due to dissatisfaction with results if all protocols and standards were followed.
7. Aftercare & Recovery
- Clients are provided with personalised aftercare instructions.
- Failure to follow post-operative care advice may negatively affect results and is the client’s responsibility.
- We are not liable for complications arising from third-party interference, lifestyle decisions, or unauthorised treatments after discharge.
8. Use of Our Website

- Use the website only for lawful and personal purposes
- Not copy, distribute, or misuse any content without permission
- Not attempt to hack, inject malware, or interfere with the website’s operation

- Any loss, injury, or damage suffered due to the use of our services or website
- Complications arising from client non-disclosure or post-op non-compliance
- Medical outcomes beyond our control despite due care and professionalism
Our liability is strictly limited to the scope of services rendered and governed by South African medical law.
11. Intellectual Property
All logos, trademarks, photos, written content, and branding on the website and social platforms belong to Dr Pert Aesthetics. Reproduction or redistribution without written permission is prohibited.
12. Changes to Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time without prior notice. The latest version will be available on our website, with the effective date clearly indicated. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to first contact us directly. Should the matter remain unresolved, it may be referred to legal mediation or arbitration in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
